Be sure to book enough time for the number of guests your are expecting in order to avoid leaving anyone out.
PLEASE do not ask us to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked.
Often we have multiple events booked on any given day. If you would like us to exceed the contracted time booked and we are available to stay, it will be charged in half hour increments (see Overtime Policy).
We arrive at the event 10-15 minutes prior to the contracted start time and are ready to begin painting at the contracted start time in the event your guests have not arrived or you are not present there is no deviation to the contracted start time. We will arrive and depart at the contracted start time. The only exception is client approved overtime.
Balance
Please have the cash balance in an envelope upon my arrival.
Retainer Fee
All services require a non-refundable fee ($50) to reserve your event date and time. Your reservation is not guaranteed until a service contract and deposit has been submitted.
$50 retainer fee is non-refundable and is deducted from your final balance.
Customer Responsibilities
Setup:Please provide a minimum space of at least 6' X 6' that is visible yet not directly in the line of traffic, access to a water source, and guests to be painted.
For outdoor events: Please provide a shaded space during the summer months and protection from the elements. For temperatures above 85 degrees please provide a sun shelter (umbrella, tent, covered porch,etc.).
During Fall/Winter we are unable to paint outdoors in temperatures less than 60 degrees.
Client is responsible for providing an alternate location during inclement weather.
Cancellation
If the customer cancels for any reason the retainer fee is non-refundable.
If the event is rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe the retainer will be credited.
If the event is cancelled within 36 hours of the start time payment is due in full.
If Evolutionz Face & Body cancels the event the deposit will be refunded and every attempt will be made to find a replacement.
Travel Fees
If round trip travel miles are greater than 30 miles from Milwaukee, WI. 53217 (as per mapquest) to the location of the event there is a charge of $.50 per additional mile.
Overtime
Any time beyond the contracted time will be billed at $35.00 per half hour, rounded to the nearest minute.
Breaks
Artist will have paid breaks of 10 minutes every 2 hours. For events greater than 6 hours the artist can take a paid lunch of 30 minutes in addition to breaks.
Extreme/Adverse Working Conditions
The artist(s) has the right to cease providing service and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme or adverse working conditions and the customer fails to remedy the situation. Extreme/adverse working conditions are not limited to: Destructive, violent, inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; Illegal activities; dangerous conditions.
Loud Music/DJ's
Please provide a location for the artist(s) away from any bands, DJ or music.
Supervision
The artist(s) is incapable of supervising children during events. Their safety and behavior is the sole responsibility of the customer and/or legal guardians.
Touch-ups
The artist(s) will only touch-up paint smudges if time permits and after all guests have been serviced.
Returned Checks
There will be a fee of $35 assessed for all returned checks/EFTs/Debits in additional to the amount due.
Gratuity
Tips are gladly appreciated but never expected.
Parking:
Parking must be provided for the artist near the event location.
The customer will reimburse the artist for any parking fees.
Artwork Limitations
Artist(s) will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose publicly or anyplace he/she does not feel comfortable painting. The only exception is for private body painting/makeup appointments.
The artist(s) will not paint any designs or wording that is obscene, offensive, or defies good taste.
Liability Statement
While we use ONLY FDA approved cosmetic grade face painting supplies, Artist(s) is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist(s) perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. Client understands that darker face paints will linger and must be removed with mild soap, water and washcloth. For safety reasons, Artist(s) will not paint children or anyone who is unwilling. For sanitary reasons, Artist(s) will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist(s) to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds. These determinations are at the Artist’s discretion. Artist(s) will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any damage to Artist’s equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests. Under no circumstances will Artists supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Legal Guardians' responsibility.
