Often planning an event can be a daunting task. Whether you’re hiring a clown, face painter, balloon artist, magician or any other type of entertainer I have some helpful tips for you.
Portfolio. This is very important. Not only do you want to see the client’s best work but you also want to see actual event work. Often an online gallery or portfolio is hand selected by the entertainer, which is great. We love to show off our best work! But, you do want to see actual event photos. A great source to see photos of your entertainers work is through their social media networks. Customers love sharing their photos from their event. This way you can see how the entertainer works in the 100 degree blazing sun with 30 guests anxiously waiting!
Customer Service. Ever met the sly toothed used car salesmen that sold you a crap shoot of a vehicle? Well there are entertainers that are sly toothed as well. So how do you tell fact from fiction? Check out their reviews, and not from just 1 source. Another great source for feedback is from another entertainer. If the entertainer you’re interested in is booked as them to refer you to someone else.
